Ouch...

The boys and I have been training for the next Revolution Tour stop in Boreal, California, which is on next Saturday the 6th of March. In training we have all been trying to put together a run for the comp. The run I am working on is a Cab 720, Front 5, Tail Grab, Front 9, Back 9...
Whilst working on this the other day, I popped... a little bit... off the wall on my front 9 and things went a bit wrong.
Check out this video >>

I think it just goes to show that
a) I'm lucky (only bruised my foot, and got a little roughed up), and
b) Nitro boards are made strong (Not a sign of damage anywhere)

I will let you know how the Rev Tour goes soon.

BadAzz

Today my freind Badaz (Anthony Badagoff) tried a double cork on the Freeway line a Breck. He got pretty close, it was a very comendable effort. Check out this clip filmed by Tyson Pollard.

Patto 'Harry Potter' Davis Meehan

Patto has been a regular in my podcasts, mostly because he is a funny bloke that makes me laugh on a regular basis. So this is the set up...
Our Acrobatics/Gym coach from NSWIS Anthony (theres was a post about him hitting his first box a few weeks ago) decided to stay out here in Breck for an extra couple weeks. Due to accomodation logistics Anthony's bed was no longer available in the coaching house, so Pat (the gem that he is) gave up his bed for Anthony. So this poses the question: In a 3 bedroom house, with 4 guys... where will pat sleep?

Rev Tour - Copper

Hey Hey,
I've been a tad lazy with my updates. I had to reinstall my computer because of some supervirus! but its okay, after a night in the infermery my lappy is okay!
Anyhow, last monday (the 8th of Feb for those playing at home) Jase , Pat and I competed in the USSA Revolution Tour at Copper Mountain.

The boys were drawn in Heat 1 and I drew Heat 2. We got really lucky with the weather today in comparison to the training day (sunday) when it was overcast and the light ridiculously flat!. Pat and Jase competed in the first heat while I was inside drinky crappy American coffe. Patto posted a 26.6 on his first run then had a throw away second run score. Jase got a 24.00 and 23.00 on his second run.
After an hour of so it was my time to ride. My run was Frontside Air, Backside 540, Frontside 720, Cab 720, Front 5... I landed my first run pretty sweet but was lacking in height, and my second run I kinda messed up my Front 7. In the end I posted a score of 25.8, this put me in 20th position. Patto came in at 18th and Jase came 26th. I was aiming to make finals (Top 16) so I was a bit dissapointed. However it was my first real comp since the Copper Grand Prix in December 08 so I guess I have to keep that in mind.

The next Rev tour is in Boreal California at the start of March so hopefully I can prove myself there.

Foxey!

So the Grom team called us up just a few minutes ago and told us there was a fox in their backyard. Pretty excited, Jase and I hightailed it over there to have a look. We fed it a few left overs and got pretty close to it. It was pretty awesome. Heres a couple of pics.

Rev Tour is on tommorow. Will let you know how I go.

Patto's Milk Gallon Count

So we have been living in Breck for about a month now and Pat just finished his 13th gallon of Milk (the last being a chocolate milk). That's 49.2 liters. This kid really loves milk... I think we need a bigger fridge.
